What you’ll learn in a needle-felting workshop

We’ll cover the basics of needle-felting, including how to use a variety of tools, different types of fiber, and the possibilities of creating with wool!

You’ll learn how to blend colors, create sharp lines, and add fine details.

You’ll finish your felted artwork by framing it in the provided hoop. Take it home, hang it up, and admire your work!
Take a Stab at Needle-Felting!
You'll learn techniques to create beautiful artwork using just wool and a needle in my beginner-friendly workshops. Follow along step-by-step, or create freely with a rainbow of colors!
All tools and supplies will be provided for use during the workshop, including a 4” hoop for framing your work. Because we’ll be using sharp needles, this workshop is recommended for ages ten and up, with adult assistance required for younger participants. Every person in attendance needs to register.

We’ll explore needle-felting through nature-themed designs, and you’ll create a charming work of art to be proud of! We’ll also dive into the world of wet-felting by making practical and beautiful bowls and vessels.

Nope! I will provide all the tools and supplies for use during our workshop!

Everyone’s artwork will turn out differently! I find beauty in the process and each final piece will have its own unique charm. I will guide you step-by-step and you’ll feel confident throughout our time together!

Needle-felting workshops last 2 hours, and most people finish their piece in that time. I’ll demonstrate how to frame your work in the provided 4” hoop! Wet-felting workshops last 3 hours. You’ll take home your finished bowl, but it will need to dry overnight.

I’ve taught students aged 8 to 80! In needle-felting workshops, we’ll use very sharp needles, and fine motor skills are necessary. Please use your judgment as to the ability of your young artist. Younger folks will need adult assistance during our workshop, and every person in attendance needs to register.
